Preparing to Leave: A few suggestions to help prepare your home and pet for your absence.

Provide extra food, litter, and other supplies in case you're not able to return home when planned.

Clean out the refrigerator to avoid smelly food spoilage and wash the dishes to prevent ants and flies.

Adjust the thermostat to keep the house comfortable for the pet.

Make sure all gates, doors, and windows are closed and locked.

Notify neighbors that the pet sitter will be in your home.

Leave an emergency key with a neighbor in case of inclement weather.
