Happy at Home Pet Sitting offers personalized pet care in your home.  Our services allow your pet to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their home.  We follow your pet's routine as closely as possible.  Our Services include:

Pet Sitting Visit:  Starting at $13 per visit.  Stay is 1/2 hour in length; however, we will stay longer if your pet seems to be exhibiting unusual behavior.

Relief visit:  Starting at $13.  15 - 20 minutes in length.  Relief visits require a get acquainted visit to set up the routine.

  1. Midday walk:  Does your dog need more exercise?  Call Us!
  2. Bathroom break:  Won't be able to make it home to let the dog out?  Call Us!
  3. Assist in Medicating:  Does your pet require medication, such as IV fluids?  Call Us!

Comfort Key Program:  Key is securely held with Happy at Home Pet Sitting for convenience.  Reservations then can be made over the phone or by e-mail. 

Large Animals:  The rate for farm and large animals depends on the length of the visit.  Visits start at $13.

Optional Services:  Toe Nail Trim; Ear Cleaning; Bath, which is performed in clients home; and Pet Products.

Get Acquainted Visit:  Happy at Home Pet Sitting requires a free visit to your home before you go away.  We like to schedule the visit within a week of your leaving.  This allows us to...

      • Meet you and interact with each pet
      • Obtain a detailed history report for each pet
      • Go over the routine and services
      • Confirm dates and number of visits per day
      • Collect the key
      • Go over the contract and policies and have a veterinary release signed
      • Get important and emergency phone numbers
      • Pre-payment is required for first time visits
      • 7 days notice required

Preparing for the Get Acquainted Visit:  Information we will request to ensure your pet staying happy at home includes:

    • Phone numbers where you can be reached
    • Local emergency contact numbers
    • People with access to your home
    • The name and phone number of your veterinarian
    • Health history of each pet
    • Areas that are off limits to the pet
    • A list of your pet's favorite hiding places
    • Fears or unusual behaviors your pet may have

Preparing to Leave:  A few suggestions to help prepare your home and pet for your absence.

  • Provide extra food, litter, and other supplies in case you're not able to return home when planned. 
  • Take Happy at Home's phone number if you would like to check in or in case you need to extend your leave.
  • Clean out the refrigerator to avoid smelly food spoilage and wash the dishes to prevent ants and flies.
  • Adjust the thermostat to keep the house comfortable for the pet.
  • Leave a list of maintenance companies phone numbers in case of an emergency.
  • Make sure all gates, doors, and windows are closed and locked.
  • Notify neighbors that the pet sitter will be in your home.
  • Leave an emergency key with a neighbor in case of inclement weather.

Don't forget to call your pet sitter when you arrive home.  This lets us know you are safe and the pets are being cared for.
