 You should brush to keep her coat clean, reduce hairballs, and increase circulation. At this time, you can check for any lumps or abnormalities. Inspect for fleas, mites, or ticks.

You should check and clean her ears for dirt or mites. Only clean the part you can see.

You should check and clean her eyes. Some cats get watery/mattery eyes. Wipe with a warm,wet cloth or tissue.

You should check and clean her teeth. Inspect for tartar buildup or gum disease. Common warning signs of dental problems in cats include:

• Red, swollen or bleeding gums
• Drooling Bad breath
• Loss of appetite
• Dark spots on molars
• Raised sores in mouth

Trim her nails and check her feet/pads. Trimming will decrease damage from scratching. Did you know Cats shed their claws?
